How much does Dacor oven repair cost?
If you approve the repair, the diagnostic is free. If you decline, it is $99. Your exact price comes in writing after the on-site diagnosis, before any repair. One symptom can have several causes at very different prices, so we never quote blind or by phone.
How fast can you come?
Often same-day, 8 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week. We confirm your arrival window when we call.
Do you use genuine Dacor parts?
Yes. Genuine OEM parts, never aftermarket. Common parts ride on the truck. If one has to be ordered, you get the ETA on the spot and your quoted price does not change.
Do you service my Dacor oven?
Single, double and combination wall ovens, steam ovens, and older Renaissance and Discovery iQ wall ovens.
My Dacor oven shows a C-20 or C-d1 code. What does that mean?
On Dacor Modernist and Contemporary wall ovens, C-20 points to the oven temperature sensor circuit and C-d1 to the door lock. Older Renaissance ovens show U30 or U31 for the sensor. We read the code on-site and test that part before quoting.
My Dacor steam oven says to descale and will not steam. Can you fix it?
Often it just needs the descale cycle. After enough steam cooking hours, Dacor Modernist steam wall ovens turn off Steam Bake and Steam Roast until a descale cycle runs. If it still will not steam after descaling, we test the water system, steam sensor and drain on-site.
What's covered under the warranty?
180 days, parts and labor, in writing on your quote. If the same fault returns in that window, we come back and fix it free.
Could you damage my cabinetry?
Your Dacor sits in custom millwork, so we protect it: booties on, drop cloths down, careful extraction. The tech works the unit out, not around it.
Is it worth repairing, or should I replace it?
You decide with a written price in hand, before any work. A repair keeps the Dacor that already fits your kitchen. If a repair is not worth it on an older unit, we tell you straight.
What if it can't be repaired?
You pay the $99 diagnostic only. We tell you straight and help you weigh replacement.
Does Denver altitude affect my Dacor?
It can. Metro Denver sits above 5000 feet, so a range or cooktop brought up from lower ground can burn yellow, leave soot or take a long time to boil. On refrigerators, dry air and altitude make condensers and door gaskets work harder.
