A power surge damaged the circuit board in our Sub-Zero right before Thanksgiving. Renat went above and beyond, found time on a Saturday, picked up the part himself, and replaced the board in under an hour. Very professional.

No ice? Check these 3 things first
- The ice maker is on On newer models it is a key on the control panel, on older ones a switch or lever on the ice maker.
- Water reaches the unit The supply valve behind or under the unit is open. If the filter light is on, change the filter: an old one can slow or stop the water.
- The freezer is cold, then give it a day Set it to 0°F. If the ice maker was off or the power went out, the first ice can take up to 24 hours.
Still no ice, small cubes or a leak? It is usually the inlet valve, a frozen fill tube or the ice maker module. A senior tech checks all three on-site and fixes it, often the same day.

Our tech, Renat, came on time and undertook a major repair of our Sub-Zero refrigerator in excellent time, about 5 hours, rebuilding the entire inside. Delighted with the results on our 30-year-old appliance.
Had a wonderful experience with Peter who came to check my Sub-Zero and explain the cause of the problem and remedies. Knowledgeable, professional, courteous and efficient. The fridge is in perfect working condition now.
Extremely competent. Dimitri knew exactly what was wrong with our Sub-Zero refrigerator, ordered parts and submitted a proposal that I approved. Showed up as scheduled the next day with all new components and installed them quickly and efficiently.
The repair on our Sub-Zero refrigerator took longer than expected and was a bit more expensive than I anticipated, but the repairman was very kind and thoughtful. We appreciated that quality.
From the moment we filled out the form asking for a service call on our Sub-Zero, everything was exceptionally smooth. […] Max let us know when he was 30 minutes out, immediately knew what to do, made the repairs and cleaned up. 5-Stars.

Questions Denver Sub-Zero owners ask.
-
How much does Sub-Zero ice maker repair cost?
If you approve the repair, the diagnostic is free. If you decline, it is $99. Your exact price comes in writing after the on-site diagnosis, before any repair. One symptom can have several causes at very different prices, so we never quote blind or by phone.
-
How fast can you come?
Often same-day, 8 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week. We confirm your arrival window when we call.
-
Do you use genuine Sub-Zero parts?
Yes. Genuine OEM parts, never aftermarket. Common parts ride on the truck. If one has to be ordered, you get the ETA on the spot and your quoted price does not change.
-
Do you service my Sub-Zero ice maker?
Built-in BI-36, BI-42 and BI-48, Pro 48, Classic, 600 series such as the 650, and integrated columns.
-
My Sub-Zero freezer is cold but makes no ice. Why?
Usually a frozen fill tube, the water inlet valve or the ice maker module. We find which one on-site and quote it in writing before any work.
-
Is it just the water filter?
Sometimes. A clogged filter slows ice and makes small or hollow cubes. If a fresh filter does not bring ice back, the valve, fill tube or module is next, and we check them on the same visit.
-
What's covered under the warranty?
180 days, parts and labor, in writing on your quote. If the same fault returns in that window, we come back and fix it free.
-
Could you damage my cabinetry?
Your Sub-Zero sits in custom millwork, so we protect it: booties on, drop cloths down, careful extraction. The tech works the panel out, not around it.
-
Is it worth repairing, or should I replace it?
A new built-in Sub-Zero runs $10k and up plus installation. A sealed system repair is a fraction of that and keeps the unit that already fits your cabinetry.
-
What if it can't be repaired?
You pay the $99 diagnostic only. We tell you straight and help you weigh replacement.
-
Do you come to my area?
Yes, across metro Denver: Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, Centennial, Littleton, Englewood, Highlands Ranch, Golden, Parker and Castle Rock, plus Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Cherry Creek, Castle Pines, Lone Tree and Boulder. Not sure about your street? Enter your ZIP in the form and we confirm it on the call.
-
Are you a licensed appliance repair company?
Colorado issues no state license for appliance repair, so there is no Colorado license for any repair company to hold. We are a registered business. Our registration details are set out on the Terms of Service page.
