Could you damage my range or cooktop?

Does Denver altitude affect my Wolf range?
It can. Metro Denver sits above 5,000 feet and burner orifices are sized for a given altitude, so a range brought up from lower ground, or switched between natural gas and propane, can burn yellow, leave soot or take a long time to boil. We check the burner setup against your elevation while we are on-site.
